Discover insights from ConCOVE's Civil project report. 

The report indicates New Zealand needs a united effort from the government, industry, and vocational education and training organisations to tackle New Zealand's skilled labour shortage. 

It recommends the four following urgent actions: 

  1. Significant and ongoing engagement with industry 
  2. Substantial and sustained funding at scale to develop multiple training options. 
  3. A large campus for training at scale to develop multiple training options.
  4. An integrated training pathway. The large campus would sit inside of an integrated training pathway. large campus would sit inside of an integrated training pathway. 

This call to action is a pivotal step towards securing New Zealand’s future in the face of growth in infrastructure demands.
