Project outputs
See AllThe issue
The construction and infrastructure sector relies on teamwork and safety, yet too many workers—especially women and gender-diverse folks—face exclusion, harassment, and hostility. These toxic cultures don’t just push them out; they also harm men, reinforcing rigid gender norms that make the sector unappealing.
Given that workplaces are also the learning environment for many in our sectors, the entire VET system must ensure these environments are safe and inclusive.
