With two decades of experience in the construction and infrastructure sectors, Mackenzie has dedicated 15 years of her career to the electricity supply industry.
Mackenzie currently holds the position of Capability Manager at North Power, leading a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about learning, development, and helping others reach their full potential. Her team is responsible for the Learner Management System, E-learning and content development, as well as electricity supply pathways and qualifications. Additionally, she serves as the Project Manager responsible for a Regional Apprentice Contract and a Trade Cadetship.
Mackenzie’s deep connection to her iwi is an important aspect of her identity, and she proudly affiliates with Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Pikiao, and Ngā Ruahine.
Throughout her journey, Mackenzie has faced numerous challenges, each offering valuable opportunities for learning and growth. Her dedication to accumulating diverse knowledge is evident in her kete, which is continually filled with mātauranga of all kinds. She remains grateful for the remarkable leaders who have shared their space, time, and wisdom with her.
