Our Directors
Our Executive Director, Katherine Hall is responsible for leading the organisation’s strategic direction and operation.
Our Deputy Director George Makapatama oversees the broader programme of work.
About our Portfolio Management Office
Our PMO team oversees all ConCOVE projects, working with external parties to initially assess and curate projects presented, and supporting the development of projects.
The team is made up of five Portfolio Managers, and a Special Projects Manager who is responsible for projects that fall outside of the Portfolio Managers’ remit.
Operations team
ConCOVE’s day-to-day operation is supported by our Executive Assistant – Melanie Kerr — and a Marketing and Communications Manager, Candice Hsu, who also oversees ConCOVE’s membership application process.

Executive Director
Katherine joined the ConCOVE Tūhura in May 2022 after two years with the Construction Sector Accord at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
Deputy Director
George's love and passion for serving, and his desire to positively impact people and communities, has led him to a lifelong career in Fakafekauga – servantship – in areas such as social services, education, community development, and systems change.
Portfolio Manager
Mani spent more than seven years working as a Professional Engineer in the Construction and Infrastructure realm of the Healthcare sector.

Nina has a background in data and analytics in banking, insurance, higher education, and at NGOs.
Portfolio Manager
Wayne has straddled the ITP, ITO, and WDC spaces in Aotearoa and have worked in multiple sectors from construction to maritime, from central government to security.

Anne-Marie has held a number of corporate and government communications roles both in New Zealand and overseas.
Special Projects Manager
Kylie's focus on gender diversity has provided her with the opportunity to work on research projects within Aotearoa New Zealand focused on women in non-traditional trades.
Marketing and Communications Manager
Candice's marketing career has spanned a wide range of industries, including advertising and media agencies, travel, and education, with a particular interest in digital marketing projects and marketing automation.
Executive Assistant
Melanie trained as an administrator, focusing on delivering courses in the horticulture and arboriculture sectors across New Zealand.
