David Fabish
Board Member
David Fabish operated his own construction company, David Fabish Ltd for 38 years, after which he established his consultancy business. Over the years, he has trained many carpentry apprentices, most of whom are now running their own building businesses. David is now a Retired Builder and Company Director.
David served 11 years on the BCITO Board where he served as the Deputy Chair. In early 2018, he served on the Licensed Building Practitioners Board and finished in October 2024. He spent 10 years on the Registered Master Builders Association Board and was the National President for two years. For the last five years, he has been a judge in the House of the Year competition and has previously won national and regional awards himself. David has been awarded Life Membership to both the National and Taranaki Registered Master Builder Associations. David is passionate about industry training and raising the standards of workmanship and productivity in the construction sector.
