Māori Advisory Group

Nau mai haere mai ki ngā mema hou o te Roopu Māori Advisory ConCOVE.

We are thrilled to introduce our ConCOVE Māori Advisory Group members. These tane and wahine toa will ensure we are listening to, and staying ahead, of the concerns and ideas within the Māori community as we embark on our five key projects, and that the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are implemented.

Recognising the priority requirement for Māori learners in the Construction and Infrastructure trades, the Māori Advisory Group will support ConCOVE to develop strategies that deliver our goals in creating a supported learning and working environment for Māori.

Together, we recognise the need for a Māori-centric approach to vocational education and career development in the Construction and Infrastructure sector; and that a supported environment is required to promote Māori entering and progressing, retaining their participation and achieving equitable outcomes.
