Zhu comes from an academic background in research and evaluation in both qualitative and quantitative research. She has the ability to design robust evaluation and research projects, particularly in the social science sector.
Before joining ConCOVE, Zhu has been a qualified teacher with experience and knowledge in tertiary education for more than 8 years. She has significant experience in adult learning, eLearning and training development. Recently, she has submitted her doctoral thesis, which aims to explore the learning needs of culturally diverse gifted and talented students in Aotearoa.
Her research interests include gifted and talented education, minority students’ learning needs, ethnic differences in academic achievement, and parental involvement from minority groups.
